Artifact: Technology Connected Lesson Plan

Conceptual Framework Reflection:  The creation of this type of lesson requires the designer to be knowledgeable of not only the subject area but also the specific nuances of integrating technology.  When using technology within a given lesson, one must be aware that the technology needs to enhance the learning experience, not just be included for the sake of inclusion.

Conceptual Framework Reflection:  This assignment was another example of how one must be knowledgeable in their respective content area as well as in the area of technology literacy.  You have to be aware of how you might differentiate between a reliable and unreliable resource.  You would also need to know how the material is relevant to your audience.

Conceptual Framework Reflection:  Creating these types of assignments and methods of assessment take a great deal of forethought and knowledge of how these systems work.  One must have a firm grasp, not only on the content, but how the materials will be delivered and assignments turned in.

Conceptual Framework Reflection:  This is an area where one must be knowledgeable of the copyright and fair use laws.  It is important that we, as instructional technology specialists, are especially well versed in this area because we will often be the person who gets questions regarding these issues from our colleagues.

Conceptual Framework Reflection:  In my future as an instructional technology specialist, it will be necessary that I remain knowledgeable in areas concerning technology, for which I will most likely be responsible for the training and adoption processes.  Using this paper as an example, it is important that I take note as to what made this a smooth transition and what could have been done to make it better.  It is these elements that I will need to be well versed.
