Artifact: Web Quest
Course: MEDT 6401
Semester: Spring 2009

Conceptual Framework Reflection:  In this instance, I had students working in groups, but each group member had a particular assignment within each group ensuring that all made a contribution.  Depending on the class make-up, groups made have to be pre-arranged in order to provide for the best learning experience for each member.  This type of setup requires one to be adaptive to the learning environment as well as the individual students.

Artifact: Online Course Design
Course: MEDT 7472
Semester: Summer 2009

Conceptual Framework Reflection:  When planning and implementing coursework in an online environment, it is necessary to be able to adapt the content to that particular format.  For instance, to get students to work together on a project in this setting, technological considerations have to be taken into account.  In this case I used Google Docs which allowed them to work together on the presentations.  They could also interact within the discussion boards or email.

Artifact: Creation of Critical Thinking Activities
Course: MEDT 8480
Semester: Spring 2010

Conceptual Framework Reflection:  When designing new activities one must be adaptive to the subject material.  It is necessary to adapt different types of higher order activities to fit within the given course material.  In this assignment the course for which we designed the activities was an Intro to Literature course. However, one must be able to adapt these activities to any subject area, whether language arts, math, or science.
