Conceptual Framework Reflection:  When using a new piece of technology, either hardware of software, it is important to remain inquisitive.  The tinkering mentality is a great asset when exploring any new tool.  This assignment allowed for the pondering of how Google Docs could be used by students and teachers to further their learning.  One should always be asking questions about how a new technology could be useful and beneficial.  As one working in a field which in technology, being inquisitive is an essential characteristic due to the rapid nature of technological development.

Conceptual Framework Reflection:  When I begin to design lessons and activities, it is important that I look up the latest standards for whatever the particular content area.  Not only should one stay current on the content standards, but also what new technologies and programs are available that may allow you to meet these new standards in a better way.  In this design plan, I have students using Google Docs which is relatively new, or was new at the time the design was done.  The Google Doc applications make it easier than ever for students to collaborate with one another.

Conceptual Framework Reflection:  When discussing safety and the healthy use of technological resources, it is important that those in leadership roles stay current on the latest threats to safety and be alert to how misuse and abuse of technological resources occurs.  This requires an inquisitive nature as technology advances at rapid rate.

Conceptual Framework Reflection:  Professional development concerning instructional technologies is another area I believe should be followed closely. It requires the instructional technologist to remain inquisitive and keep up-to-speed on the current research and trends.  If we do not take on this responsibility, it will likely not receive the attention it deserves.
