Cloning a Repository

  1. Pick a destination folder that will contain the cloned file by choosing a meaningful destination or creating a new folder.

  2. Go to the “repository” menu on the file bar next to the Apple icon, and choose the “new cloned” option.

  3. Enter the local using the “choose” button or server address in the source section (for this example we are using: Dr. Rocco’s Sample Repository). In the destination section choose the folder you chose or created from step a using the choose button and select a meaningful file name for the cloned file.

  4. Click the “clone” button.

  5. Once cloned a window will appear with the repository history of the cloned file.

  6. Also if you look at file directory for the file you created or selected in step a, and later chose as your destination file, you will see a copy of the cloned file.
