Videos

1. Explore video uploading sites. YouTube is the most popular, but there are a number of other sites:

• http://video.google.com/
• http://www.vimeo.com/
• http://video.yahoo.com/
• http://www1.teachertube.com/
• http://www.schooltube.com/

2. Try to find one video that you find funny and one video that could be used in the classroom. Post both links (or insert the videos using the embed code) in your blog along with the reasons why you chose those videos.

3. For the video that could be used in class, use a downloading site to save it to your computer.  As long as you follow copyright law, this is a good way to prevent videos from stopping and starting (the dreaded “buffering”). These are sites you can use:
