Introduction
Web 2.0. Blogging. Tweets. Facebooking. Wikis. What are they? Why do I have to use them? Why are they important?

Task
Your task is create a list of 5 web tools that you feel would benefit your department and be useful in the classroom..  You will be using a social bookmarking application to highlight, note, and track information that you believe is important.  When you have completed your list you will share your information using a wiki.

Procedure
1. Take the pre-assessment quiz located here. How did you do?

2. Diigo is a social bookmarking tool that will allow you to highlight, take notes, and create libraries of information.  While I suggest you create your own account later, for this webquest, click here and sign in.
The log in is atlspsch and the password is speech3160

3. Go here for information on installing the diigo tools.

4. Watch this video for a quick visual tutorial on how to use diigo.

5. Use the resources to investigate different web 2.0. tools.  Keep in mind that these are not comprehensive lists, since there are new 2.0. applications all of the time!

6. When you have selected which 5 tools you would like to recommend, visit the staff development wiki at  http://atlspsch-staff-develop.wikispaces.com/
Add your 5 on your department's page along with your reasons as to why people should use these tools.
