Fifth Grade Webquest on Matter

Familiarize yourself with the states of matter and physical and
chemical changes of matter using the links provided. 2. Come up with a logo for the American Society of Young Scientists that will be on the back of your brochure. 3. Do a layout of your brochure so you know what topics will go where on your finished product. 4. Sections- a. What is matter? Define what matter is and give some examples. (Front) b. What are the states of matter and how does temperature change the states? (Inside-Left) c. Physical Changes- Define physical change and give an example with a picture. (Inside-Middle) d. Chemical Changes- Define chemical change and give an example with a picture. (Inside-Right) e. Matter and Your Life- When do you see these things in your daily life? (Back-Left) f. Free Choice- Something about science that will go with your logo. (Back-Middle) 5. Make sure your brochure is colorful and has pictures to help explain your concepts. |
