Welcome fellow historians....we have a very important job for you today!

The book you see at the beginning of this webquest has gone missing! Your teacher was planning on using it to teach you all about the famous Georgia historical figures!

Without this book, your teacher has no material to teach you with so you are going to have to do some serious researching. We have got to gather up important information on all 7 of the Georgia historical figures that are in our standards! Even though the book is missing we still have to learn and keep going!

Don't worry because the class will be put into groups of 3 for this activity and everyone will have a job! Your group will pick one of the 7 Georgia historical figures to research by using the various resources on this webquest.

Your group's goal is to find out what all your historical figure contributed and find a way to convince the rest of the school that he/she contributed the most!!!
