Tomochichi - A short biography

Did you ever have to serve as a mediator between two very different friends? Tomochichi did. Tomochichi was head chief who lived on the land we now call Savannah, Georgia. Tomochichi was a friend of General James Oglethorpe. He helped General Oglethorpe establish good relationships with the other Indians of that region. Without Tomochichi, the colony of Georgia may have not been a sucess. Think about how difficult it can be to make two different friends "get along" as you learn more about Tomochichi.
