Process
1. Your team will be assigned by your teacher. There will be 6 people per group/team.
2. Once your team has chosen the state that they would like to research you will inform the teacher of your state. If your state has already been selected that teacher will tell you to select another state.
3. JOBS
With one other person in your group you must find the required facts on one of the followings ares for your state

- State History
- State Government
4. State Facts Assignment
- Read about your state at 50 states.com.
- Complete the required facts on this worksheet.
5. State History Assignment
- Read about your state's history at InfoPlease.
- Complete the required history on this worksheet.
6. State government Assignment
- Read about your state's government at Fact Monster.
- Complete the required government information on this worksheet.
7. As a group find the flag of your state, from Fact Monster, and recreate the state flag using construction paper, glue, and scissors.
8. After you have collected all of the information that you need, let your teacher know that you are ready to put your PowerPoint together.
9. Your presentation to the class of Fact Finders
- You will use the computer that is in the classroom to present your PowerPoint to the class.
- At that time you will also present the flag of your state that you made.
- You will turn in all worlksheets from your reasearch.
- All members of your group must present the information equally.
