Rocket League

An image of in-game footage depicts the intro screen, showing the rocket league logo over a soccer ball and goal.

Rocket League is an insanely popular, wacky mashup of rocket-cars, and soccer. This game has been one of the most popular Esports in gaming since the day it was released in July 2015. While it has been nice to see a couple games that work flawlessly in extra-widescreen situations. Rocket league allows us to see a bit of the not-so-fun part of extra widescreen gaming.

Shown below are ultrawide, and triple monitor views of the Rocket League menu, from top to bottom. As you can see, most of the view of the players car is stripped from the view due to the zoom of the car being tied to the field of view. This makes customizing the car in the garage somewhat difficult.

Though, as you can see in these two pictures below, if you can handle, a less refined looking car, the overall coverage of the field adds tons of advantage when in actual gameplay.
