Video Card:

This can also be called a graphics card.  The function of the video card is to output an image to a display device such as a computer monitor.  There are different types of video cards available for various purposes and two different types of ports. The standard port is the blue analog port and is designed for CRT monitors.  The most recent video port is the white digital port. Digital ports are used to connect LCD or flat panel monitors. 

Blue analog port:  This type of card would be useful for your traditional computer users as well as for traditional uses in a business.  When this type of card is used, most users only need basic video output. Applications that are not very strenuous such as word processing and surfing, performance
is not an issue and this card would be suffice.

Digital ports: Some video cards also come with its own processor and RAM.  These types of cards are beneficial for gamers and businesses that work with graphics and need optimization and speed for their line of work.
