Content (Spending, Saving, & Credit)

Instructions

Listed below are three areas of focus that are vital to personal finance and have therefore been chosen to be the content areas of our interactive website.  Our learning module is designed such that after studying the following areas you will be able to successfully (with 90% of questions answered correctly) pass the assessment located on the tab button within a 50 minute class setting.   After reviewing the subjects Spending, Saving, and Credit we encourage you to use some of the resources located on our blog to gain more insight on matters relating to personal finance.

1.  Click the "LEARN MORE" link on each section (Hint:  Try not to spend more than 10 minutes on each section).
2.  Utilize the "Blog" tab at the top of the page to learn more about current issues relating to personal finance.
3.  You will use the web 2.0 technology website "Quizstar" for your assessment (your will activate your account).
4.  Click the "Assessment" tab and log into your Quizstar account.  There you will find your assessment entitled "4M Assessment".
5.  After completing, print your score confirmation and give this to instructor.

Saving

Saving is an attribute of discipline.  Students who have the discipline to save early and often find themselves in a better position than students who don't.  It is wise to save for rainy days, for they are inevitable.

Credit

Credit is one of the most important aspects of one's financial identity.  For this reason, it is imperative for students to understand the importance of credit.  Review this section carefully.  You will see many of these concepts for the rest of your life.
