LOVE THE LORD!!!

Deuteronomy 30:

14 But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.
15 “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, 16 in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.

Deuteronomy 4:5-10

5 “Surely I have taught you statutes and judgments, just as the LORD my God commanded me, that you should act according to them in the land which you go to possess.”

6 “Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes, and say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’

7 “For what great nation is there that has God so near to it, as the LORD our God is to us, for whatever reason we may call upon Him?

8 And what great nation is there that has such statutes and righteous judgments as are in all this law which I set before you this day?

9 Only take heed to yourself, and diligently keep yourself, lest you forget the things your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. And teach them to your children and your grandchildren,

10 especially concerning the day you stood before the LORD your God in Horeb, when the LORD said to me, ‘Gather the people to Me, and I will let them hear My words, that they may learn to fear Me all the days they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children.’

4:24 “For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.”

4:29 “But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”

4:30 “When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, when you turn to the LORD your God and obey His voice

4:31 “(for the LORD your God is a merciful God), He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them.”

Deuteronomy 4:39

39 “Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that the LORD Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other. 40 You shall therefore keep His statutes and His commandments which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which the LORD your God is giving you for all time.”

Hosea 14

Israel Restored at Last

 1 O Israel, return to the LORD your God,
      For you have stumbled because of your iniquity;
       2 Take words with you,
      And return to the LORD.
      Say to Him,

      “ Take away all iniquity;
      Receive us graciously,
      For we will offer the sacrifices of our lips.

       3 Assyria shall not save us,
      We will not ride on horses,
      Nor will we say anymore to the work of our hands, ‘You are our gods.’
      For in You the fatherless finds mercy.”
       4 “ I will heal their backsliding,
      I will love them freely,
      For My anger has turned away from him.
       5 I will be like the dew to Israel;
      He shall grow like the lily,
      And lengthen his roots like Lebanon.
       6 His branches shall spread;
      His beauty shall be like an olive tree,
      And his fragrance like Lebanon.
       7 Those who dwell under his shadow shall return;
      They shall be revived like grain,
      And grow like a vine.
      Their scent[b]shall be like the wine of Lebanon.
       8 “ Ephraim shall say, ‘What have I to do anymore with idols?’
      I have heard and observed him.
      I am like a green cypress tree;
      Your fruit is found in Me.
       9 Who is wise?
      Let him understand these things.
      Who is prudent?
      Let him know them.
      For the ways of the LORD are right;
      The righteous walk in them,
      But transgressors stumble in them.

Hebrew 10:19-25

19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Romans 14:17

17 “for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.”

18 “For he who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and approved by men.”
19 “Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another.”

20 Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All things indeed are pure, but it is evil for the man who eats with offense.”

21 It is good neither to eat meat nor drink wine nor do anything by which your brother stumbles or is offended or is made weak.”

22 Do you have faith? Have it to yourself before God. Happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves.

23 But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin.

2 Samuel 7:22 “Therefore You are great, O Lord GOD.[c] For there is none like You, nor is there any God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears. 23 And who is like Your people, like Israel, the one nation on the earth whom God went to redeem for Himself as a people, to make for Himself a name—and to do for Yourself great and awesome deeds for Your land—before Your people whom You redeemed for Yourself from Egypt, the nations, and their gods? 24 For You have made Your people Israel Your very own people forever; and You, LORD, have become their God.

Proverbs 16:1-

6 In mercy and truth
      Atonement is provided for iniquity;
      And by the fear of the LORD one departs from evil.
       7 When a man’s ways please the LORD,
      He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
       8 Better is a little with righteousness,
      Than vast revenues without justice.
       9 A man’s heart plans his way,
      But the LORD directs his steps.
       10 Divination is on the lips of the king;
      His mouth must not transgress in judgment.
       11 Honest weights and scales are the LORD’s;
      All the weights in the bag are His work.
       12 It is an abomination for kings to commit wickedness,
      For a throne is established by righteousness.
       13 Righteous lips are the delight of kings,
      And they love him who speaks what is right.
       14 As messengers of death is the king’s wrath,
      But a wise man will appease it.
       15 In the light of the king’s face is life,
      And his favor is like a cloud of the latter rain.
       16 How much better to get wisdom than gold!
      And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.
       17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil;
      He who keeps his way preserves his soul.
       18 Pride goes before destruction,
      And a haughty spirit before a fall.
       19 Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly,
      Than to divide the spoil with the proud.
       20 He who heeds the word wisely will find good,
      And whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he.
       21 The wise in heart will be called prudent,
      And sweetness of the lips increases learning.
       22 Understanding is a wellspring of life to him who has it.
      But the correction of fools is folly.
       23 The heart of the wise teaches his mouth,
      And adds learning to his lips.
       24 Pleasant words are like a honeycomb,
      Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.
       25 There is a way that seems right to a man,
      But its end is the way of death.
       26 The person who labors, labors for himself,
      For his hungry mouth drives him on.
       27 An ungodly man digs up evil,
      And it is on his lips like a burning fire.
       28 A perverse man sows strife,
      And a whisperer separates the best of friends.
       29 A violent man entices his neighbor,
      And leads him in a way that is not good.
       30 He winks his eye to devise perverse things;
      He purses his lips and brings about evil.
       31 The silver-haired head is a crown of glory,
      If it is found in the way of righteousness.
       32 He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
      And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.
       33 The lot is cast into the lap,
      But its every decision is from the LORD.
