Are You Ready for the Lightning Round?

About how many people are killed each year by lightning in the United States?
About 100.
Over a thousand.
Only a few, less than 10.
Tens of thousands.

Which state has the most thunderstorms each year and therefore the most deaths by lightning??
Washington D.C.
Texas.
Alaska.
Florida.

The best shelter from lightning is ?
Under a tree.
In a swimming pool or lake.
In a car or truck.
Inside a permanent building.

What should you do if someone near you is struck by lightning ?
Stay away, they could be electrically charged and will shock you.
Call for help and then give first aid.
Leave the person where they are because lightning won't strike twice in the same place.
Continue with your golf game because there is nothing you can do.
