In towns and cities of all sizes across Georgia can be remmants of the once dominant textile industry.
At one time the textile industry occupied a large share of the overall Georgia economy. Today the Textile
industry is s shadow of its former self. The textile industry did not shrink overnight, and the results of its
attenpts to stay competive can be seen in mill buldings across the state of Georgia.
