I am a 24 yr old female that on January 26th of this year I had a AVM burst. January 31st I had surgery to remove the AVM. Everything after that is a blurr.
I lost some vision and have some short term memory loss. When I left the hospital the surgeon told me that I would not have the headaches that I have had my whole life. I never knew what those headaches were from. He said they were from the AVM and I wouldn't have to deal with that anymore.
In the last 3-4 months my headaches have become so severe I feel sick to my stomach. I have had multiple CT Scans and they don't seem to find anything. None of the doctors are concerned about this.
I am so tired of feeling like this. I am just wondering if this could be part of the "healing process" and if other patients experience this type of thing after surgery. I can't seem to get an answer out of the MANY doctors that I have seen.
If this is something you've been through or know about please contact me.
