Its been a year since my son died of a major brain aneurysm. Its still so very difficult to understand. He was talking with me in the morning went upstairs than collapsed. He was brain dead when he got to the hospital. The doctors said they had never seen such a large aneurysm in all there years of practice.
Bill never had symptoms, a few headaches from time to time but still kept carrying on with his daily activities. We know in our hearts Bill didn't suffer when god took him home.
My husband and myself donated money in Bill's honor hoping more research would be done in this field of medicine. We consider aneurysms silent killers.
Bill will always be in our hearts. He was a giving person always helping others so in return we gave his organs to help other people survive and they have. We got beautiful letters from these people who have lived due to Bill's generosity. That's the way he would have wanted it and we know as a family he lives on in other people.
Always we will love him and keep him deep in our hearts. Always a loving mother, Bills mom, Marianne.
