On 14 Mar 2000 while driving home from a vacation my 49 year old husband collapsed at the wheel of the car, he was going approximately 70 miles an hour at the time. Through the grace of God I was able to take over the wheel and get our vehicle to the shoulder. I called for help from a call box.
The paramedics were able to get his heart beating again, but after a scan at the hospital in Palm Springs was done, I was told he had suffered a brain aneurysm and was brain dead. Later after life support was removed, he was gone within moments.
He had suffered a head ache and slight ear ache that morning, but we had a eaten a nice lunch together only about 10-15 minutes before this happened.
I know he has went home to be with the Lord. Words can not begin to express how very much I miss him.
