Don Harbin died suddenly at home on September 14, 1998 of an aortic dissection. His secretary had not heard from him since early morning when he left for his district insurance agents meeting in downtown Dallas. His wife came home to check on him and found him unresponsive in the den of their home. He was 51. No one knew he had any heart condition.
He was a faithful follower of Christ, a devoted husband and father, and a kind and caring brother in law. There is no other person who can take his place here on earth, but I know in my heart he is safe in heaven and seated near the right hand of God.
I have read many of the testimonials of the survivors of aneurysms and aortic dissection and praise God for your second chance at life. And my heart grieves for those others who have lost a loved one in a similar situation that we have.
I write this in loving memory of:
Don Edwin Harbin
