The most beautiful and wonderful person in the world died at 38 of an aneurysm. His name was Dennis Haymond and I loved him with all of my heart.
We met when I was setting up a clinic in Daly City California in 1988. He was working at a local market. We became instant friends and corresponded across the US for years, often visiting to hear some jazz or site see.
Dennis knew he had an inoperable aneurysm and it was just a matter of time. His zest for life and his infectious smile and spirit will remain with me all of my life.
Dennis helped me so much throughout the years with his kindness and friendship that all I can do now is try to pay him back by supporting and creating awareness for this devastating condition.
