WILL YOU LOVE ME
Brain Injury Is: asking what time it is three times in a five minute period.
- Will you love me when I cannot run my races
- Do you care that I speak so very slow
- Does it matter that my hands are somewhat shaky
- Are you upset that I don't know where to go
- Will you love me when my hand grows tired and useless
- When it stays there and I cannot make it move
- If I holler and I swear for little reason
- Would you stay if I had nothing more to prove
- Will you love me if you cannot understand me
- When my words don't seem to come out very right
- At the times when my behavior needs adjusting
- Can we work it out and never have to fight
- Will you love me when my whole life has been altered
- But the twinkle in my eyes grows stronger yet
- If my love for you must somehow go unspoken
- Could you care for me just like the day we met
