My friend didn't feel well while we were at this small party. We were having fun and he seemed alright most of the night. After we all went home the next morning and I was sitting at home watching TV, about 3:00pm the state police called me asking about the party. He then told me that my friend was in the hospital and in critical condition.
I gave my statement as true as I could remember it. My friend was at another party before that so we didn't know what went on there. Late that night after the police talked with my parents, I was told he had an brain aneurysm and if he survived he would have permanent brain damage.
Then my mom got word that he died at about 7:00 that night. I couldn't believe it. Then she told me that it was a mistake. She yelled at me all that night while I was sitting waiting to see if my friend was going to make it. I never will forgive her for that.
The next morning I went to work frequently calling the hospital to get the current status. I was planning to go see him after work but when I called my mom to tell her she informed me he passed on.
I don't understand what happened so I'm researching brain aneurysms to try to figure out why a 19 year old man died a week before him and his identical twin brother turned 20. We all miss him and I just wanted to share this event with everyone.
