Introduction
You are a travel agent preparing a trip for a group that would like to tour a region of South America called Los Paises Andinos. The Andean Countries include Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, and Venezuela.
The countries in the Andean Region include famous tourist sites as Machu Picchu, The Galapagos Islands, and Angel Falls, just to name a few.

Task
Your group will choose one of the following to create for your presentation: a power point, a brochure, or a video. The presentation should show the group all of the wonderful places they may visit while they are on their tour. In addition to exploring the tourist sites, you need to educate the tourists about important information regarding travel in each country.

Process
To become familiar with tourist attractions in each country, please explore the websites listed below.  For each country in the region, make a list of a minimum of 3 places to visit in the region, and one of those must be a natural attraction (such as the Galapagos Islands or Angel Falls). In addition to a list of attractions, include information about why you chose those places, including any relevant historical and geographical information.

In addition to the places of interest you need to compile, you also need to educate the tourist groups on any important safety information, and information about the government and geographical location of each country. While researching the countries, you need to answer the following questions:

  1. Is it safe to travel to the country?
  2. What are the passport, entry, and exit requirements?
  3. Are there American Embassies in the country, and in which cities that the group will be visiting?
  4. Give a brief overview of the political environment of the country.
  5. Include any interesting or important cultural information a tourist visiting the country will need to know.

Use the following links to conduct your research:

Conclusion
Your group will create a presentation approximately 8 minutes long that includes a visual or visuals. You will present to the class on the same day. Make sure you go over the rubric thoroughly, so you know how you will be graded. If you choose the video option, then you do not have to make an additional document (such as the power point or brochure). However, I will grade the appearance and presentation from your video. Therefore, I will expect you to use props in the video to count as graphics.
